Welder/Fabricator Vacancy

Job Description

Applications invited from individuals with varying levels of ability in MIG welding & general fabrication, including recently qualified Apprentices at LEVEL 2/3 for a progressive role within an innovative & expanding agricultural manufacturing company.

The successful individual will be trained to work from design drawings, use their initiative & skills to fabricate and weld agricultural products and assemblies to a quality finish ready for painting.

If you feel that you already have the relevant skills, or are hoping to progress in this field, are energetic, reliable and safety conscious, we will provide all the necessary in-house and professional training required to help you excel in the role.

Professional welder coding to company procedures, jib crane & hoist certification, FLT training and any other relevant training required for the role is provided and is ongoing. A valid fork lift truck license and previous agricultural fabrication experience is an advantage but is not essential.

• Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm (40hrs) 1/2hr
lunch break.
• All PPE is provided.
• 3 Month probationary period applies.
• Pay is depending on qualifications and experience, is paid weekly
by bank transfer
• Auto-enrolment into Company Pension Scheme
• 28 days holiday per year (pro rata) is included.

There is no public transport to the village, so own transport is essential.

Job Description

Applications invited from individuals with varying levels of ability to join an innovative and expanding agricultural manufacturing company established almost 30 years for a progressive role in the fabrication workshops.

The successful individual will be trained to provide support to the fabrication team.

If you feel that you already have the relevant skills, or are hoping to progress to a role in this field, are energetic, reliable and safety conscious, we will provide all the necessary in-house and professional training required to help you excel in the role.

Professional jib crane/hoist training and certification, FLT training and any other relevant machine training required for the role is provided and is ongoing. A valid fork lift truck license and previous agricultural fabrication experience is an advantage but is not essential.
